Yoga For Kids is a fun, healthy, physical class for kids ages 3-6. Each week, we will learn yoga poses and breathing exercises, play games, practice fun, kid-friendly meditation, and even do a few art projects. All activities will enhance self-awareness and help kids to become more aware of their own bodies. Just as it does for adults, yoga helps kids relieve stress, be in the moment, learn about relaxation, and develop positive coping skills. As they improve physical coordination, they will build confidence, use plenty of imagination, and have fun! Parents/caregivers are welcome to participate in the class with their child or stay at Wake Up Yoga to enjoy some personal time. Our community space will be available, or those interested are welcome to use the small back room for yoga self-practice…or even a nap! Sorry, no refunds, partial enrollments, or make up classes.
