Toni Zuper


Toni Zuper is the Owner/Practitioner of Alternative Healing in Center City Philadelphia. Her 25 year professional practice includes personal treatments in Shiatsu, Tai Yoga Bodywork, and Reiki. Consultations in psychological astrology, diet, and breath regression are also available to clients.
As a yoga teacher, Toni integrates yoga instruction with bodywork as a therapeutic modality. Her background in education includes experiential work with grades Pre-K – 12, recreation programs, studio workshops, adaptations for geriatric participants, and PWPD.
Toni holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from West Chester University, a Reiki Master Certificate, and a degree in Advanced Shiatsu from the Ohashi Institute. She has completed the 2000 teacher training program at Yoga on Main, and the 2002 teacher training program at Wake Up Yoga. She enjoys ongoing learning in fields of nutrition, art, music, dance, and ritualized healing through tutelage and private study.
Toni is the creator of YOGAntics, a children’s yoga DVD, and Mindful Meditation, a CD of guided imagery for personal practice. She has been published numerous times in local periodicals including Yoga Living Magazine, The Weekly Press, Philly Fit, and Town & Country.
Creating bridges between resistant populations and exuberant practice is Toni’s greatest inspiration. She currently develops teaching methods for nursing facilities and urban school children. Group classes for office locations, special groups, and enrichment programs are available by contract.
