Are you looking to dive deeper into your practice? Are you dealing with a specific injury or condition that affects your day to day life? Or maybe you’re looking to simply focus on your overall health and well-being in a private setting?
Private yoga sessions are a great way to build your practice with one on one feedback; or to focus on particular areas of the body that require care: back or shoulder pain, chronic pain, arthritis, fibromyalgia, insomnia, migraines, or injury prevention/recovery, just to name a few examples.
Working one on one with a teacher, private classes are designed to fit your needs using the techniques of yoga asana (postures), breath-work, and meditation.
Sessions are typically 60 minutes in length with time woven in, so the student can provide feedback and ask questions. The teacher will also introduce sequences that can be practiced at home.
Privates can be one-on-one or in small groups and can be as rigorous or as restorative as you’d like. No previous yoga experience is required. Schedule sessions at one of our studios, or one of our teachers can come to your home.
How it works:
- You can choose the teacher you’d like to work with, or we can match you with one of our teachers based on your needs and availability
- You and your teacher will work together to set goals and check in each session
- You can choose the style of yoga you would like to practice: vinyasa, yin, restorative or a combination, or your teacher will make this determination based on your intention
