Julie Caramanico is a Counseling Psychology Consultant at the University of Pennsylvania. She’s a Registered Yoga Teacher and a Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance, and has been teaching in the Philadelphia region for 5 years. She has taught yoga programs with the UPenn and the Kinney Center for Autism Education and Support. She also blogs about yoga and mental health for Healthy Minds Philly – a mental health initiative through the Department of Behavioral Health and Intellectual Disability Services in Philadelphia. She holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Clinical Health Psychology, and specializes in trauma-informed therapeutically focused vinyasa yoga classes for adults, as well as specialized yoga for children with special needs.
