When Anthony first met the Buddha Dharma at a talk given by Michael Carroll at Wake Up Yoga in 2006, it was love at first listen. He has been a devoted student and passionate proponent of the teachings of Chogyam Trungpa ever since. His practice has seen him through all five levels of the Shambhala Heart of Warriorship Trainings and into the Way of Shambhala courses, and inspired him to volunteer at the Shambhala Center, and help promote the peer-led Monday Night Sangha that continues to explore the discipline of Lojong and the path of the Boddhisatva. Anthony feels grateful for the opportunities to study with many of Trungpa’s ‘old students’ during The Profound Treasury of the Ocean of Dharma Intensive Retreats, and continues to learn from the writings, recordings and on-line teachings of Pema Chodron. He feels especially fortunate to call Michael Carroll his teacher and his friend. Anthony is deeply moved by the gentleness and patience that continue to be revealed to him through this practice of meditation, and is enthusiastic to introduce others to the possibility of discovering their own Awakened Heart.
