I am a lifelong learner.  I am trained in various styles of yoga, including vinyasa, Anusara, restorative, yin, and yoga nidra.  I’m also a massage therapist.  I offer Thai Yoga Massage and Integrative massage at my home studio. In addition, I hold a bachelor’s in genetics from Rutgers and a masters in neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania.  I used to think that science and yoga were opposites, but the more I learn the more I see that they are complementary methods of asking the biggest questions: Who am I? I consider myself very fortunate to have studied with some amazing yoga and massage teachers, including Lilavati, Justicia DeClue, Zhenja LaRosa, Rebecca Hooper, Victoria Ladd, Julia Bayardi, and Theresa Tobin Macy.

The greatest gift I have received from yoga is daily meditation, chanting, and prayer.  I am a more open, grateful, and joyful person because of yoga.  It is an honor to share what I have learned with others, especially restorative yoga, because I feel it is the perfect antidote to our frenzied, over-stimulated culture.  I also love writing about yoga, and have written for Mind Body Green and Elephant Journal.
