Bridgette was introduced to yoga in 2009 by a friend. She was laid off from work at the time and later realized that things come to us just when we need them. Yoga was such a new type of activity for Bridgette. She was used to soccer, walking and running, which she loved, but yoga provided something new. She actually felt as if she floated home after each class. After trying a few studios and types of yoga, she realized that Wake Up Yoga felt like her 2nd home and signed up for the Brand New Beginners series (which she took twice!). After 6 years of taking classes at Wake Up Yoga, Bridgette signed up for the Teacher Training program. She realized that she wanted to share this wonderful practice with others. As a health coach training to be a holistic nutritionist, she feels that yoga has provided a strong foundation in her continuing journey to support and educate people in leading a healthy and balanced lifestyle and can’t wait to see where it continues to take her!
