Anna began practicing yoga over ten years ago while studying classical ballet and found yoga to be a holistic healer. She was inspired to teach yoga to help students find their own footing on their yogic path, specifically one of wellness through the mind body connection. In classes you’ll find humor and compassion with a focus on breath, and finding a sense of ease in the body.
Anna earned her 250 foundational training certification from Wake Up Yoga in Philadelphia and Prenatal certification through the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts. She is currently working towards a 500 hour Therapeutic Yoga certification from the Center for Integrative Yoga Studies. Anna has a wide range of experience including working with individuals who have limited mobility, scoliosis, chronic pain, movement disorders including Parkinsons and cancer survivors.
Anna has also earned a dual bachelors of science at the University of Tennessee in Psychology and Sociology, followed by a masters in public health from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
